After having my second baby in March I was sooooo ready for this wedding in May! Weddings were getting a little exhausting while pregnant, I was 36 weeks when I did my last one! This one was the best wedding to kick off a busy summer! This venue, the club at the boatyard, is such a perfect place to have a classic Gig Harbor wedding. These two just radiate when they're together. Sorry not sorry about all these dreamy portraits! I love shooting weddings in my home town and these two hired some of my favorite trusted vendors,  The cake and cupcakes were made by Emily Holden, who makes all my specialty event cakes for parties and birthdays, and the florals were done by my second shooter and close friend Melanie Faun.  My favorite part of this wedding has to be the dancing. To be honest, ever since getting pregnant with a boy, I've cried at every single mother son dance. Every. Single. One. Even before we were sure we were having a boy, I just knew. (Check out the first mother son dance that made me cry last year here.) So there I was, crying when Alex was dancing with his mom, and then he danced with his grandma... seriously, make it through these photos without tearing up, I dare you. All the dancing that went on with this greek family was just the best. Melanie and I looooooove a good dance party! Opa!
